Ian Eastwood Drawing

1. My overall thoughts on this piece was way different then any other of my project. I rarely do any drawings of people. This happens to be one of my favorite Choreographers "Ian Eastwood". He's been a dancer since he was 6 years old. He's only 19.

2. This piece was "moderate" in my opinion. I try my hardest to make self-human being drawing's realistic and try to make them come to life. It all depends on how much time in put into it shade it correctly in it's certain areas.

3. What worked in this project was the shading in added to him. It really brought out his face structure and lining of some of facial feautures. What didn't work wasn his eyes. I'm a noob when it comes to making eyes, but need work on nose's as well.

4. My redos for this project would be some of facial features. And more detail on his bottom shirt and background as well.

5. Most difficult part of this project was making sure everything lined up right. Just one little inch off of certain areas can effect a whole drawing and I get the slighest urge to rip it to shreds.

6. What I learned from this piece was that taking time on pieces can really make them turn out to look really good in the end.

Water Paint Art Project

My water art project as you can see consisted on an exotic fish I researched on google images. I decided to do something different, other then copying some body elses picture online. So, making it my own but a different style.

My favorite part of this was actually drawing it out, while deciding what types of water colors to use on it. Someone who has had little experience on water colors, I think I do quite good at it. Shading is actually one of my favorite things to do.

But, I felt like I messed up on his fin .. I put a little to much orange and red faded in the purple .. made it look a little gross looking is what I think.

Taking more time on his fins is something I would of done. Other then that I think I did well on this project.

I thought I did overall good on this sketch of a minion from despicable me. I took my time on this and didn't rush at all.

I thought i did very successful on this. Not so tight with the left side of other minions I sketched out. I would've been able to put more detailed in them if I didn't rush on that part of the sketch.

What worked on this project was my shading. Not so much huge in detailed shading, but small portions of it. What didn't work was the left side of my sketch. I didn't put to much shading in the other minions I did.

If I were to redo this project I would change my left side of my book. I was thinking of doing step-by-step on how to draw a minion.

I really didn't find anything difficult on drawing this.

What I learned from this piece would be time consumption.

Stole Project* (:

This Stole Project Went Quite Fast I Believe. My Sketch Actually Looked Like My Final But Just More Detailed. This One Taught Me The Basics Of Shading As Well.

What I Noticed As The Way I Shaped My Stole. If You Held It Right In Front Of You , It Was Very Easy To Notice It Was Tilted The Way I Drew It .

Difficult Part We're Most Likely The Legs Of The Stole. Trying To Find The Right Position To Draw Them Was A Pain.

If I Could I Would Re-do The Back Legs & Just Put Some More Time On Shading As Well.

This Project Was One That Was Displayed In The Display Case In Front Of The Library At Sometime Last Year, & I Tend To Have More Be In The The Following Year As Well.

Value Squares (Track & Field)*

I Knew Wanted To Do My Value Squares Based On Track & Field. This Not Only Being My Favorite Sport, But Knowing 9 Events Could Fit In As 9 Sketches As Well.

I Noticed I Didn't Spend Much Time On The Nike Sign. That Was My Biggest Issue.

Finding Pictures Was Actually Quite Difficult ; They're Where So Many That We're Alike & I Needed To Find The Right Ones.

I Would Re-do My Nike Sign & Maybe Spend Some More Time Shading & Darkening My Images As Well.

This Project Was Actually One Of My Best Ones. I Wouldn't Throw It Away If I Had The Chance..

Dragon Aboriginal Dot Painting*

My Thoughts About This Project Are Just Like My Others. I Wasn't Quite Sure If I Wanted To Color The
Dragon, So I Left It White ..

I Noticed That I Messed Up Some Dots On The Lower Right Corner. I Did Kinda Rush This Project Though. Which Is My Fault

Drawing The Dragon Was Nothing New To Me. Putting The Dots Around The Shape Of The Dragon Was Another Story.

If I Could I Would Redo My Dots From Start To Beginning.

This Project Was A Challenge I'm Not Going To Lie. Only Can Get Better From Here!

Halloween Shark Pumpkin*

When I Did This Project I Didn't Know On What To Do With A Pumpkin? To Be Honest I Was Just Going To Color It. But Then I Wanted To Do Something Different. Then This Came To Mind.

I Felt Like This Project Was Very Successful! I Didn't Think I Would Accomplish  Making A Shark Pumpkin .. Everyone Love It.

My Overall Painting On It Was Simple. But The Teeth Where A Pain.

If I Could, I Would Fix His Upper Teeth. You Can Tell The White Streaks Going Down Up At Top & How Different It Is On The Bottom Teeth.

What I Learned Was That Only My Painting Skills Cold Only Improve In The Future, & Painting Pumpkins Isn't At Easy As It Seems.

HCO* Drawing

At First I Didn't Know What To Draw, & Then Came To Realize To Draw Something Basic. I Didn't Think It Would Turn It Good Like This..

Throughout My Project, I Always Notice I Left Small Details Out & Would Go Back To Fix It. I Could've Spent More Time With More In-Detail Work I Must Say.

My Sketch To Draw The Figures Was No Big Deal But Starting Out With Different Shades Of Black Was A Challenge, But Got Use To It Quick.

I Would Go Back & Spend More Time On My Project & Make It Somehow Pop Out More Clearly From Visual Image.

Difficult Part Was Using Conte Crayon For The First Time.

I Learned That This Type Of Art Is Quite a Hassle ...

Baby Taz* (:

My Overall Thoughts About This Project Are Actually Quite Adequate. I Took My Time Drawing Baby-Taz & I Felt Like It Got Easier When I Got To The Third Piece.

I Felt Like This Piece Was Very Successful, Because It Was My First Time Doing A 4 Step Abstract Painting , & Did Quite Well On My First Try.

My Painting Skills Worked Great In First Drawing, But Messed Up On On The Third Drawing As You Can See (Used A Darker Brown On His Lower Right Skin Tone)

Fix My Size On The Second Taz, & Re-do The Coloring On The Third Drawing.

Most Difficult Part Painting I Must Say, I Would Tend To Over Paint & Not Notice Till The End..

What I Learned From This Project Was Not Only My Mistakes Are Guidelines To What Better I Can Do In The Future, But That Taking "MORE" Time On A Project Like This Would Be A Possibility As Well.
